Steph has worked in various countries collaborating with local artists and community groups. Projects include collaborations with Movimento Pro-Crianca, Brazil - giving workshops to young people from the favelas; Colectivo de
Mujeres de Matagalpa, Nicaragua - working with young people and communities in remote rural areas and the International
Theatre Institute, Mongolia - giving workshops and performances in prisons and orphanages. Steph has also taught and directed for a number
of youth theatre companies including Epic Arts; Nimblefish; Westminster PHAB; Chickenshed; Arcola Youth Theatre; Volcano Theatre
Company; Eastside Educational Trust; Theatre Spirale; Creative
Partnerships, UK.
As Artistic Director at the Women's Circus, Steph works with women, young people and communities to
create high quality performance events and community engagement projects. The Women's Circus positions empathy and imagination as the most powerful forces for social change. Steph is currently directing the 'Somewhere Now' project - a collaboration with women from refugee and asylum seeker communities.
